About Trinette Faint

Originally from the Chicago area, Trinette appeared on the fashion scene as a model in the early 90’s.  Travelling around the world everywhere from Paris to New York, Trinette was constantly meeting new people from different backgrounds and ethnicities all trying to make it in the modeling world.  It was then that Trinette noticed how hard it was for makeup artists and models to find beauty products customized to their specific skin tone and type.  “One agency would tell me my skin was too black and then another one would complain that I was too light!” Trinette reminisces.  “We would spend hours sitting in the chair and it struck me as so funny when makeup artists would be surprised when the same product wouldn’t work on the Caucasian, Asian, Indian, and African American girls!”  Trinette would usually end up bringing her own makeup to shoots, oftentimes blending various colors to get the right shade.  “There were really only 2 or 3 brands out there for people with ethnic skin tones.”  Trinette decided then and there that one day she would create a one stop beauty shop for women of any and all colors.  The idea for LoveHue.com was born.

It would be awhile before LoveHue.com came to realization.  In 1999, Trinette went from modeling in front of the camera to working behind the scenes as Matt Damon’s personal assistant.  For years Trinette followed Matt from set to set as he filmed The Legend of Beggar Vance, Ocean’s Eleven, The Bourne Identity and more.  Most interesting to her was hanging out in the beauty and makeup trailer where she gained an invaluable education from the top professionals in the field.   “Just watching the hair and makeup artists work their magic was awe inspiring and taught me more than I could have ever learned at beauty school.”
