~House of Creed~ celebrates 250th anniversary with royal clientele

As the House of CREED celebrates its 250th anniversary in 2010, it also celebrates the distinguished clientele that has sustained the world's only privately held luxury fragrance dynasty passed from father to son in an unbroken line since 1760.

At the CREED boutique at 794 Madison Avenue at 67th Street in Manhattan (212.439.7777 or 1.877.273.3344), a selection of letters and other communications from some of CREED's most distinguished clients will be on display from April through December of this anniversary year.

Included are letters from President and Mrs. Obama, former First Lady Laura Bush, Crown Prince Felipe and Crown Princess Letizia of Spain (note attached), members of the British royal family, Olympic gold medalists, military heroes, the Mayor of New York City and others.  CREED's 19th century royal warrants from the Queens of England and Spain will also be on view.

While the exhibition is just a small sampling from CREED's vast archive, it nonetheless provides an interesting glimpse into the House of CREED never before seen by the public.  There are no plans for the display to travel around the U.S.  It will be shown only at CREED at 794 Madison Avenue in New York.

At CREED, every client is a VIP.  CREED enthusiasts who enjoy Green Irish Tweed, Imperial Millesime, Fleurissimo, Spring Flower, Original Vetiver or any of CREED's more than 40 fragrances for men and women are bound together by a shared appreciation for artistry, legend and innovation.  CREED aims to treat every client like royalty.
