I found Dazzle Dry to be one of the few polishes which did not dry out my nails or cause them to peel. I was also impressed with how quickly it dried. But once I started seeking non-chemical lite polishes and looked into Dazzle Dry for myself for these specific reasons, I found there was much more on the Dazzle Dry “good list” than I had realized. It is free of Formaldehyde, Toluene, Phthalate (the Big 3) and it is also free of Nitrocellulose, which is the chemical found in polishes that stains your nails yellow. Dazzle dry is the only nail polish system in the world to be free of all 4! They also claim to be the greenest of all nail polish formulas, being both vegan and non-toxic. Dazzle Dry is one polish system you can use without fearing those undesirable additives.
So, Dazzle Dry does no harm, but does it work? First, the base coat and the polish really do dry within minutes, even after multiple coatings. It is dry to the touch within about three minutes, and then dry enough to resist virtually any thing abrasive within five minutes. The truly resilient top coat seals everything in and is fully cured within 15 minutes, maximum. Drying time is really important if you are doing a french manicure, because there are about 5 “coatings’ to apply to get the transparent pink nail bed color which sets off the white tips, yet the whole french manicure process can be complete and dry within 30 minutes with the Dazzle Dry product. If you are simply using a solid color polish, it would be an even quicker process.
The Dazzle Dry polish stays put, and looks exactly the same after a (very) full week of wear. No chipping, no peeling, no touch-ups required. I also tried a solid color my toes, and those have remained perfectly polished for almost three weeks.
You can purchase single polish bottles, but the Dazzle Dry “Kit” is worth the reasonable investment and is comparable in cost to paying for a single manicure/pedicure/plus-tip …yet the kit should last for months of manicures. Buying the complete kit makes it easy, painless and virtually goof proof to get a long lasting, professional looking manicure at home. The kit contains the pre-base coat cleanser, the base coat, a special top coat which bonds everything at the end, and of course the polish(s). All layers of the “system” work together to form a stronger adhesion and a stronger, shinier protective barrier. The combination also protects against the yellowing of the actual nail under the polish, and also protect from UV yellowing of the polish itself. On top of all of that wonderfulness they also state this system is, durable & chip resistant, self-leveling, nutrient fortified with Vitamin B5, Collagen and Calcium with Advanced Color Stability as both the lacquer and the top coat contain a UV (ultraviolet) screen for color protection.
Dazzle Dry Nail Polish works wonders and is pretty darn cool.So whats my take on this product? I luv it! It's amazingly simple, quick & easy and really does dry as fast as they say! I can't say for sure, but I think this really is the "Greenest" of all nail polish collections. I luv this product and I know my young daughters will too. They hate waiting for polish to dry! I highly recommend this product to all my fellow nail polish junkies. It's really super awesome! I need to get my hands on some more colors!
