The GoClear 3-step Acne and Blemish Regimen was developed under the direction of Dr. Alan R. Gottlieb, MD, MPH, GoClear’s founder and CEO, to treat acne sufferers of any age and skin type, and all skin tones. The concept behind the company’s ClearCulture™ Skincare design is that acne care products can and should be maximally effective, yet friendly to everyone regardless of age, skin type, or ethnicity, an inspiration that Dr. Gottlieb credits to his own mixed-ethnicity children.
GoClear accomplishes this by thoughtfully combining medicinal and high-grade active botanical ingredients in products that are all oil-free and allergy tested. They also do not contain alcohol, propylene glycol, PABA, lanolin, artificial dye or fragrance, ingredients that can be irritating especially to sensitive and darker pigmented skin, and that may lead to or prolong the dark spots that can linger after a blemish has been treated. GoClear does not formulate with benzoyl peroxide. GoClear believes that everyone should limit their exposure to irritating skin care ingredients.
In an independent clinical study of the GoClear Intensive Acne Treatment - Salicylic Acid 2% conducted on people of all skin tones (Fitzpatrick Scale I-VI), all panelists stated that the acne treatment easy to use, and a 66% improvement in acne severity was achieved after three weeks of use. By the end of the 6-week study 97% of all panelists had experienced a decrease in their total number of acne blemishes.
While the GoClear 3-Step Acne and Blemish Regimen is easy to use and effective, each product was designed for stand-alone use as well, or as a complement to an existing skin care program.
The centerpiece of the line, the GoClear Intensive Acne Treatment - Salicylic Acid 2%, is an over-the-counter acne treatment lotion containing maximum strength salicylic acid in both quick and sustained-release forms. Botanical and other natural ingredients help calm the skin and reduce the appearance of redness. It can be used by anyone of any age or skin type to treat persistent acne as well as an ‘emergency’ treatment for the occasional breakout.
Rounding out the 3-step acne and blemish regimen are a luxurious oil-free lathering gel cleanser and a light daytime moisturizer with SPF 15.

GoClear CLARIFYING CLEANSER AM/PM
This oil-free lathering gel cleanses thoroughly without stripping the skin of its essential moisture. The GoClear Clarifying Cleanser AM/PM helps balance and restores hydration with nourishing, high-grade botanicals specially chosen to start off the regimen. This advanced formula eliminates impurities, will remove makeup, and yet is gentle enough to be an everyday cleanser. In keeping with the GoClear goal, the fragrance in the clarifying cleanser is water-based, thus non irritating to skin but still pleasant and fresh smelling. Featured ingredients include a hydration-balancing blend of botanical extracts, Shea butter, green and white tea extracts – EGCG antioxidant, Acai berry, Ginseng, gentle exfoliating granules.

GoClear INTENSIVE ACNE TREATMENT – SALICYLIC ACID 2%
This powerful and easy to use light lotion penetrates quickly to address a root cause of acne – clogged, inflamed pores. Maximum strength salicylic acid 2% in both quick and sustained release forms clears up acne blemishes and allows skin to heal.
