~Women in Fashion design a greener planet~

Eco Fashion is creating new trends this season in sustainable and socially conscious style.  Women Eco Fashion designers are now forming alliances with eco-minded entrepreneurs in the fashion business to build a healthy and fresh approach to their campaigns.

Patricia King-Davies was inspired by women from many cultures collaborating for the common cause of a healthy world.  From this desire, an aspiring eco collection was born -- the PKD SPA Line for Spa and Wellness.  PKD SPA is peace of mind, body and spirit with a new line designed almost entirely from natural sustainable fabrics for a healthy lifestyle.  The Spa Line flows freely from office to spa, resort, cruise, or retreat.  Patricia King-Davies has created harmony with an eco collection, which includes hemp and organic cotton, and aspires to sustainable and fair trade principles.  PKD SPA is peace of mind in natural fabrics and simple design
The Patricia King-Davies mantra for her organic eco collection is “Peace is Natural.”  PKD believes, “It is heart-warming to see women join hands for higher-minded healthy causes.  This rise in unity consciousness presents ethical fashion as a beautiful wave of creativity for the highest good of everyone on Earth.”

British entrepreneur, Kerry Bannigan, founder of Nolcha: Fashion Business Services launched the Ethical Fashion Preview in September 2009 during New York Fashion Week to celebrate ethical fashion designers from around the globe.

"Providing professional support to independent fashion designers is crucial for the future of the fashion industry. In today’s market it is important to encourage the ethical movement and educate people about this  - whether designer, retailer or consumer," states Kerry Bannigan.
"The success of the Ethical Fashion Preview has provided a foundation for us to grow this initiative and continue to highlight ethical fashion brands to the press, retailers and industry decision makers."

In celebration of their long-standing and mutually supportive relationship, Nolcha once again invited Patricia King-Davies to share their fashion stage at New York Fashion Week. PKD SPA shined in the Ethical Fashion Preview’s spotlight as an aspiring eco collection for Spa and Wellness.

Together with the enlightened presence of Bel Esprit, the online showroom for international designers of ethical fashion, these fashionable women formed an alliance and raised awareness in the design world for a socially conscious vision in sustainable fashion.  “Bel Esprit brings together international fashion designers creating a new luxury: elegant and chic collections that value the earth and its resources and are constructed with pride and attention to detail by artisans and workers invested in their creation.  It is the mission of the showroom to support designers accepting the difficulties of creating an ethical collection and helping them to pursue their commitment to ethical practices.”  “Patricia King Davies is a welcome addition to the showroom, demonstrating her dedication to a fashionable and high-quality collection that continuously evolves as new ecological fabrics and processes are sourced.  We look forward to seeing more from this emerging designer!”  Bel Esprit

PKD SPA now joins Bel Esprit Showroom online to share in their ethical fashion movement with a global vision for sustainability and fair trade.  With Nolcha’s presence in the fashion business highlighting Ethical Fashion designers, Bel Esprit’s promotion of Eco Fashion and Fair Trade internationally, and PKD SPA creating Eco Fashion for Spa and Wellness, the world is a more green, healthy and beautiful place to live.
