NEOCUTIS S.A. was founded in February 2003 in Lausanne, Switzerland. It is a privately held specialty bio-pharmaceutical company focused on wound healing, dermatology and skin care.

What makes your company unique?
NEOCUTIS is a unique company because we are dedicated to providing scientifically advanced, cutting edge skincare of the highest quality and efficacy for skin rejuvenation, post-procedure skincare and adjunctive skincare and women’s health. With both a master cell bank and working cell bank, we are able to manufacture our core ingredient, PSP®, Processed Skin Cell Proteins from the cell lysate of fibroblasts. NEOCUTIS, has developed a variety of beneficial skincare technologies that are sold exclusively through physicians.

What experience has led you the development of your company?
The NEOCUTIS story began with a discovery following years of medical research on scarless wound healing. Researchers were able to develop a biotechnology process to obtain the rich proteins responsible for scarless wound healing from cultured fibroblasts.
In 2005, NEOCUTIS launched its first product in the US market, NEOCUTIS Bio-restorative Skin Cream with PSP®; a cosmeceutical sold through physicians. With a well-edited line of nine products, NEOCUTIS is quickly becoming a leader in innovative, effective skincare, bringing the precision of Swiss technology and cellular therapy research together for scientifically advanced breakthroughs in anti-aging and post-procedural skincare.

Are you involved with any charities?
Yes, we are involved with The Sturge-Weber Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to providing superior support to all individuals with port wine stain related conditions. During the month of May, we will be donating $1 to the organization for each unit sold throughout the entire month. We are determined to continue this philanthropic effort in 2010.
